Oh snaps! The smackdown of the two biggest titans in live music is happening this weekend and the whole thing is going to play out in the pages of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.
That’s right folks, detente officially comes to an end as the paper’s longtime music critic Chuck Yarborough hypes an in-depth look at this battle between the two concert promoters in this Sunday’s paper.
The fight for Cleveland has Live Nation in the one corner with venues like Blossom, the House of Blues, Jacobs Pavilion and plans to take over the Masonic Temple. AEG Presents has the Agora theater in its corner with plans to spend $3 million to upgrade the historic theater it now owns.
Chuck hypes the fight in a teaser video that has to be seen to be believed. Whatever bandaid that’s healed these two side’s wounds is about to be ripped off and thrown in the trash. It’s about to go down!
