Ed Sheeran had his own British pub in Los Angeles for two nights in August last year. To celebrate the “Shape of You” singer’s two sold-out nights at Staples Center in Los Angeles, AEG temporarily transformed the venue’s Wells Fargo Chariman’s Lounge into Nancy Mulligan’s Pub in honor of Sheeran’s grandmother. The venue’s backstage lounge was transformed into a British pub with the floors wrapped in vinyl to look like cobblestones and the British flag decorated the double doors. The walls behind the bar were wrapped with brick, all the framed artwork was replaced by lyrics from some of the artists’ biggest hits, and a special menu included fish and chips, British beers and wines, and traditional cocktail Pimm’s Cup.
