Flying Lotus has announced he’s taking his successful 3D live production on the road. He’ll join friend and collaborator Thundercat for a tour that kicks off with two dates Oct. 14-15 at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles and wraps up Nov. 22 at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon. Flying Lotus has put out five studio albums, a “slew of audio-visual marvels” and he directed a movie last month, according to a statement from the artist’s reps. His 3D Live venture debuted in July at the LA’s FYF Festival. The tour begins in conjunction with the first annual Red Bull Music Music Academy Festival, also in the city of angels. Tickets go on sale Friday. Click here for more information, tix and complete tour dates.
