Live Nation has invested $2 million in Block Party Suites, which allows fans who arrive early to purchase VIP experiences with pre-event activities prior to sporting events. Amenities will include access to fully furnished tailgate tents equipped with satellite TV and premium lounge furniture as well as entertainment from live bands, popular tailgating games, food and BYOB options. Live Nation’s investment will have executives Mark Campana, Co-President – North American Concerts, and Tom See, Chief Revenue Officer – North American Concerts sit on the Block Party board. This funding round’s venues include BB&T Pavilion and PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey, Ascend Amphitheater in Tennessee and Klipsch Music Center in Indiana.
