Seen from anywhere on the festival site, art installation Spectra was a standout at Coachella. The seven-story tower invited visitors to enter and revolve down a ramp and view 360 degrees of the music festival. Each floor of the tower was a different color of the rainbow so that every turn someone makes drenches the event in a new color and light. Created by British company NEWSUBSTANCE, Spectra was shipped over in pieces, assembled on site beginning March 20, and completed just hours before the initial gate opening.
