Want a back tattoo to honor Stanley Cup VIP Alexander Ovechkin, or maybe a nice leg piece to honor Olympian Kerri Walsh? Then you’ve got to meet New Zealand tattoo artist Steve Butcher, who does incredible portraits of athletes like LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Canadiens goalie Patrick Roy, and our favorite, Wesley Snipes from the film White Men Can’t Jump. The McGregor piece on the hamstring of fight fan Luke Lorenzen took 12 hours, saying he uses a high-resolution photo to achieve the realistic look. This MMA news site has a great feature on him, which includes an insane portrait Butcher did for another UFC fan of a bloody McGregor and Nate Diaz. Check it out here.
