Dolly Parton continues her media blitz to promote her first children’s album, “I Believe In You,” with a special appearance on Dr. Oz this Thursday. Parton will cover a variety of topics with Oz, including segments about Mountain Medicine and her personal struggle with kidney stones. In addition, the episode will shadow Parton and Oz on a recent trip made to the Vanderbilt Children’s hospital.
The visit was a personal one for Parton, who recently donated $1 million to the hospital after her niece, Hannah, underwent successful chemotherapy there. The struggles Hannah faced inspired multiple songs on “I Believe In You” including “Chemo Hero” and “Brave Little Soldier.” You can order the album here.
