Canadian country star, Johnny Reid, brought some major soul to Rogers K-Rock Centre on April 14. Reid stopped by the Kingston, Ontario arena along with support from a 13-piece revue dubbed the Soul Providers and opening acts Glass Tiger and Jessica Mitchell. Reid is flanked above by (L-R) Manager of Events and Sales Simon VanAsseldonk and General Manager Lynn Carlotto. The two are presenting Reid with a limited edition t-shirt that celebrates the Rogers K-Rock Centre’s 10th anniversary. The t-shirt includes the names of artists that have preformed at the Rogers K-Rock Centre over the past 10 years. The venue has been selling the t-shirts to raise money for Gord Downie’s two foundations (The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund and Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research – Sunnybrook Foundation).
