LiveStyle, Inc. has hired entertainment industry veteran Chris Monaco as Chief Revenue Officer – Brand Partnerships and Sponsorships. Previously, Monaco was at the Universal Music Group where he was a Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Brand Development. In his position at LiveStyle, Monaco will be responsible for heading the global partnerships team, as well as developing and executing brand strategy across the company’s event, content, and digital platforms; providing world class brand solutions for all partners. Monaco will be based in LiveStyle’s Beverly Hills, CA offices.
LiveStyle’s President and CEO Randy Phillips said, “Chris and I first worked together when he was at Octagon and I was the CEO of AEG Live, so I know his capabilities very well. His industry experience makes him a great addition as LiveStyle CRO, as we continue to create new and innovative opportunities for our festivals, brands, and fans.” Phillips added, “The modern day CRO assumes the responsibilities of a revenue-minded CMO with a deep understanding of multiple industries, marketing principles, and consumer engagement.”

Previously, Monaco spent four years at the Universal Music Group where he was most recently the Senior Vice President/Head of New Business. In that role, he was part of a newly formed brand partnerships division and responsible for leading a business development team across brand, agency, and media platforms. Previously at Universal, Monaco was the Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing & Brand Development.
Before his employment at Universal, from 2008 to 2012, Monaco was the Senior Vice President Music and Entertainment for Octagon, leading development and execution of client entertainment and sponsorship platforms within television, music, digital, film, branded content, and events.
Prior to Octagon, he was a Director Entertainment Marketing at Pernod Ricard, leading entertainment marketing, sponsorship, branded content, product placement, and events for the portfolio of brands.
