Judge Martin Glenn signs off on hiring of EisnerAmper
Accounting firm EisnerAmper has been hired as the accountants to Gregory M. Messer, the trustee appointed to oversee the estate of Fyre Festival LLC as it winds its way through Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
EisnerAmper “does not represent an interest adverse to the Debtor’s estate with respect to the matters on which EisnerAmper is to be employed,” U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn’s order reads. The accounting firm will be tasked with conducting a review of Fyre’s books and records, performing an analysis to determine whether any property of Fyre is in the possession of third parties, assist in the review of claims and objections and prepare tax returns for Fyre Fest.
