This week BET Network and AEG announced the first wave of all-star artists playing the BET Experience at L.A. Live. The fifth annual BET Experience presented by Coca Cola includes three nights from June 22-25 of talent at Staples Center followed by the BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater on June 26.
The initial lineup for Thursday night is Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, Desiigner, and Playboi Carti. Friday night will feature Bryson Tiller, Jhené Aiko, Keyshia Cole, Jidenna, Khalid, THEY. and H.E.R. The final evening of BET Experience on Saturday will have A$AP Rocky, ScHoolboy Q, Gucci Mane, Rae Sremmurd, Migos, and Young Thug.
“We’re excited to join forces again with our partners at BET to bring the best edition of the BET Experience back to L.A. LIVE,” President of Staples Center, Microsoft Theater, and L.A. Live Lee Zeidman told Amplify. “With each year, we continue to grow the event and expand the lineup and we anticipate drawing the largest crowd yet, more than the 160,000 fans we had in 2016 throughout the BET Experience weekend.”
The BET Experience will also have interactive activations throughout the four days including a celebrity basketball game. The game will be part of the BET Fan Fest happening at the adjacent LA Convention Center from Saturday June 24 to Sunday June 25.
Additional STAPLES Center performers as well as the lineup of concerts at The Novo presented by Microsoft will be announced soon.
Tickets for the BET Experience go on sale March 23 at AXS.com with VIP packages available.
