This June, comedic superstars Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart will perform a limited run of shows together. The duo have announced seven shows in Boston, Houston, and El Paso, Texas between June 11 and 24.
The limited dates will bring the two legends together for the first time since August 2017, when they performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The former Daily Show host made a surprise appearance at Chappelle’s show to rail against white supremacists and President Trump.
Chappelle has released four stand-up specials via Netflix in the last year including Equanimity, The Bird Revelation and the Grammy-winning The Age of Spin and Deep in the Heart of Texas.
Stewart announced in July that he would be dropping two new stand-up specials on HBO. Dates for the new specials have not been announced, but they will mark Stewart’s first return to stand-up in 20 years.
In an effort to ensure tickets get in to the hands of fans rather than scalpers or bots, all tickets for the run of shows will be sold through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform. Registration for Verified Fan will be available here beginning today, Monday (May 14) at 10am EST through Wednesday (May 16) at 10pm EST. Tickets for registered fans only will go on sale beginning Friday (May 18) at 10 am local time, while limited supplies last.
