According to police, ‘rowdy’ patrons jumped on stage at The Masquerade club in downtown.
Police responded to a call on Sunday (Nov. 12) night that someone had been shot at the Masquerade Club’s “Hell” music venue. Shots were fired before Boston underground rapper Cousin Stizz took the stage.
Two rowdy patrons reportedly jumped on stage during a break and got into an argument with a third attendee. The third person pulled out a pistol, shot the two victims, and began shooting towards the ground. Police believe this led to striking more patrons.
Attendees rushed for the door and an unarmed security guard was unable to apprehend the shooter before he fled. According to Patch, one victim died onsite from a gunshot wound to the chest and a second victim died after arriving at the hospital with multiple shots in the back. Two others were taken to the hospital for ankle and foot gunshot wounds.
