Daryl Hall and John Oates are bringing back their Philadelphia-centric festival, HoagieNation. For its second year, HoagieNation will feature performances from the duo as well as Train, Fitz & the Tantrums, and Tommy Conwell and the Young Ramblers.
Hall & Oates and Train will play full sets on their own and then close out the evening with a joint set. More artists are expected to be announced closer to the festival.
“I’ve known Daryl Hall and John Oates for a few years now and after being their fan my entire life, we now get to tour with them and spend time with legends in the world of music. This will be a career highlight for all of us in Train and a show that you won’t want to miss,” said Train’s lead singer Pat Monahan.
The Memorial Day weekend event will take place on May 26 at the Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. As with the inaugural festival in 2017, HoagieNation 2018 will highlight food & culture with numerous Philly-based food favorites including an
expanded Hoagie Pavilion offering free hoagie tastings for all attendees from more than twenty Real Philly Delis as part of “Hoagie Happy Hour” presented by Dietz & Watson. There will also be food trucks, local craft beer and spirit offerings, Philly personalities, the return of the HoagieNation Hoagie Eating Contest and other surprises.
Tickets are available now at HoagieNation.com. In addition to access to HoagieNation at Festival Pier on May 26, all Gold & Silver Package purchasers will receive access to an Exclusive Pre-Party & Culinary Celebration kicking off the weekend festivities Friday, May 25 at the Fillmore Philadelphia featuring live music & a chef-driven hoagie experience. The HoagieNation Pre-Party Culinary Celebration will feature Philly all-star band David Uosikkinen’s In The Pocket plus a very special headliner performance to be announced.
