Anna Sjölund (pictured left) and Therése Liljedahl (pictured right) have been named joint Managing Directors of Live Nation Sweden. The women’s promotions are effective immediately.
Live Nation is continuing to expand its presence in Nordic Markets with as the owner and operator of Summerburst, Sweden Rock and Way Out West festivals. Live Nation Sweden is also responsible for the Swedish legs of Guns N’ Roses, Coldplay, Metallica, Depeche Mode and the Rolling Stones 2017 stops.
“I have spent the majority of my career at Live Nation and had the opportunity to grow together with the business. I am excited to be able to continue my journey in this new role and look forward to what is ahead,” Sjölund said in a release.
Sjölund has been with Live Nation for 18 years, most recently as Head Promoter at Live Nation Sweden, a role she will retain while starting her role as Managing Director – overseeing Live Nation Sweden’s agency, touring and festivals.
Liljedahl is currently the Director of Marketing & Nordic Partnership at Live Nation and will retain responsibility for partnerships as she steps into her new position as Managing Director. As Managing Director, Liljedahl will oversee Live Nation Sweden’s marketing, partnership, finance, administration and Human Resource functions.
Liljedahl said in a release “I’m honoured to have been given this opportunity. I look forward to taking the next step at Live Nation Sweden together with Anna, and my fantastic colleagues.”

Live Nation Sweden includes the subsidiaries Luger (concert and festival promoter) and Sweden Rock Festival.
