LoyaltyMatch has announced it will add Apple Wallet to its loyalty rewards program to make it easier for members to get rewards and data.
The geolocation system within the Wallet guides members to their loyalty card even when their iPhone is locked.
“We believe this will be particularly attractive to entertainment venues where fans attending shows buy food and beverages, merchandise and more. Wallet eases the payment process and provides the member with a digital experience that is simple and rich while awarding them the points they’ve earned,” said LoyaltyMatch President and CEO Brad Ball.
I.M.P. was the first to ask for and adopt the wallet for its program. I.M.P. is an independent concert promotion and production company that owns or manages venues like 9:30 Club and the Lincoln Theatre in Washington D.C., the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland and others. In October, the new I.M.P. concert hall The Anthem will open, also in Washington, D.C.
