Today, legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has announced his first-ever gospel album titled Bible of Love. Bible of Love will be released by RCA Inspiration in collaboration with Snoop’s gospel label All The Time Entertainment. The album is also the first release from All The Time Entertainment, a label which Snoop launched to provide more opportunities for gospel music artists.

The album will be a double disc, 32-song collection that is meant to showcase the genre and “bring people together.” Bible of Love, out March 16, features appearances from R&B and gospel stars B. Slade, Faith Evans, Rance Allen, The Clark Sisters and Tye Tribbett with more to be announced.

Snoop said in a release “I am blessed to have so many legendary friends join me on this journey. As the country is in one of its heaviest times and is so divided, I wanted to make an album that spreads love and unity around the world. That’s what I was taught, so that’s all I know. Real love.”

Music from Bible of Love will debut on the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration premiering on BET on Saturday (Feb. 3) at 11pm EST. Check out his first video for “Words Are Few” below.

This week, Snoop was also named the host for the sixth annual Global Spin Awards. Known as the “Grammy for DJs,” the Global Spin Awards will take place on Feb. 15 at the Novo Theater in Los Angeles. The premier awards show honoring the most dynamic and talented DJ’s from around the world will air exclusively on Revolt on Feb. 22 at 9 pm ET.

Snoop Dogg is not only the host, but also nominated for his work as DJ Snoopadelic in the award’s celebrity DJ category.“Through the Awards, it is our mission to recognize the diverse, bold and remarkable DJs that have helped shaped the music industry into what it is today. Snoop Dogg is a legend and a trailblazer in the industry, and we are honored that he will be joining us to host this year’s Global Spin Awards,” said Shawn Prez, Founder of The Global Spin Awards in a release.  

This year’s awards will celebrate nominees such as DJ Khaled, DJ Envy, Marshmello, The Chainsmokers, and Funk Flex. The Global Spin Awards will honor Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Timbaland, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as CEO of So So Def and Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Jermaine Dupri, who will receive the Breaking Barriers Award. The full list of 2018 nominees can be found at: GlobalSpinAwards.com.
