ARCADE FIRE’S ‘EVERYTHING NOW’ TOUR ADDS TWO CALIFORNIA DATES
Arcade Fire just added two new dates to its “Everything Now” tour, adding a Los Angeles at the Greek Theatre on Sept. 20 and a show the Greek in Berkeley on Sept. 22 —the first night in Berkeley, Sept. 21, has completely sold out. The Zombies will support in L.A., while Grizzly Bear will support on the new Berkeley date. Tickets to the new shows will be on sale to the public beginning Friday, June 22 at 10am PT. ACACIA NEWLON LEAVES EVENTBRITE-OWNED TICKETFLY
Acacia Newlon is leaving Ticketfly and parent company Eventbrite after seven years at the San Francisco based company where she most recently served as Sales and Marketing Manager. Newlon plans to take some time off before returning to the workforce later this year. Newlon is a graduate of UCLA.
BEYONCE + JAY-Z’S “EVERYTHING IS LOVE” NOW ON SPOTIFY & MORE
Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s joint album Everything Is Love is now available to stream at Spotify, Pandora and Apple Music, and to download at Amazon Music and iTunes. Recorded under the name The Carters, the surprise album dropped on Saturday as an exclusive to buy or stream on Jay’s digital music platform, Tidal. It seems that exclusive window has abruptly closed. In a social media post, Amazon announced its users can buy the 40-minute album in the MP3 format, or unbundle its individual tracks.
