Students interested in working in the live entertainment industry can apply for an internship that includes EAMC registration fees, hotel accommodations for three nights, and travel. Industry professionals who need financial assistance attending the conference can apply for scholarships which cover EAMC registration fees and hotel accommodations for three nights.
Kobalt to Administer the Majority of Elvis’ Catalogue
Kobalt has signed a deal to administer the majority of Elvis Presley’s publishing catalogue worldwide. The deal between Kobalt, Authentic Brands Group and Elvis Presley Enterprises features more than 1,000 songs and goes into effect on January 1. Laurent Hubert, President, Platform and Investments at Kobalt said in a statement, “We are thrilled to represent such an iconic artist and a catalogue of such timeless songs. There is not a more groundbreaking artist that fits so well with Kobalt’s innovative approach to the music business.”
Delaware North Sportservice Names New COO
Delaware North Sportservice has named Richard Scheider as their new chief operating officer. In the new position, Scheider will oversee the company’s food service and retail operations across the United States. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for growth and profitability, location and corporate team development and will work to enhance client relationships. He will also remain involved with Delaware North’s travel business until a successor is identified.
