GARTH BROOKS LIP-SYNCED CMA PERFORMANCE

Garth Brooks was lip-syncing during his performance at Wednesday night’s CMA Awards, Taste of Country reports. The superstar admitted he mouthed the words to “Ask Me How I Know” because he had been sick. “We decided to lip-sync it because my voice was just not there and we wanted to represent country music the best we can,” he said. “We made a game time call on whether to sing to a track or lip-sync. And we decided to lip-sync it.” Brooks drew social media criticism after some viewers noticed he seemed off his game.
