ERRY GARCIA FOUND. ANNOUNCES THIRD ANNUAL BENEFIT CONCERT
On Dec. 16, the Jerry Garcia Foundation will hold its third annual Imagine There’s No Hungry benefit at Viansa Sonoma Winery located in the San Francisco area. The benefit concert will support WhyHunger and Yoko Ono Lennon’s global hunger relief efforts. The audience will be invited to participate in sing-along presentations of Lennon’s “Imagine,” “Give Peace a Chance,” and the Grateful Dead’s “Ripple.” The show will be headlined by Hot Tuna featuring Grammy Award-winning artists Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady and drummer Justin Guip. GOLDENVOICE PARTNERS WITH URBAN COMMONS ON QUEEN MARY
Goldenvoice has announced a partnership with Urban Commons, the the leaseholder of the historic Queen Mary ocean liner docked in Long Beach. In 2016, Urban Commons acquired a 66-year lease of the ship and planS to renovate the attraction as well as develop the 65 acres of waterfront land surrounding the vessel. The partnership promises to bring curated music entertainment and festivals to the attraction by 2018.
ETIX ACQUIRES INTERACTIVE TICKETING
Etix has announced its more recent acquisition of ticketing software company Interactive Ticketing. This newest development follows Etix’s 2017 acquisition of ExtremeTix and TicketBiscuit. Interactive Ticketing built a boutique ticketing system around state-of-the-art marketing tools, reporting features and wireless capabilities drawing a strong client base in amusement parks, consumer shows, fairs, and expos. “Interactive Ticketing was the next step in our plans for growing the company,” said Etix CEO and founder Travis Janovich in a release.
