LADY GAGA INKS LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY DEAL
Lady Gaga is set to kick off a residency in Las Vegas at the MGM Park Theater, Variety is reporting. The deal closed over the weekend and will bring the pop star to the city starting in late 2018. According to Variety’s Shirley Halperin, Gaga will perform 74 dates (and potentially extend the show based on sales) in a deal valued at nearly $100 million, with the pop star clearing more than $1 million per show over two years.
TM’S PATTI-ANNE TARLTON INDUCTED INTO HALL OF FAME
Ticketmaster Canada chief operating officer Patti-Anne Tarlton will be inducted into the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Hall of Fame next year. The honor will take place May 10 at Toronto’s Rebel Nightclub as part of the annual awards gala dinner during Canadian Music Week (May 7-13). Click here to learn more.
PORTLAND TIMBERS SIGN WITH LEVY AFTER DITCHING CENTERPLATE
The Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer have signed a 12-year deal with Levy to be their exclusive hospitality partner for all concessions, premium seating and catering at Providence Park. Levy will take over for Centerplate, which has served in that role for the Timbers since before the club entered MLS in ’11. It will handle the same duties for the NWSL Portland Thorns, which also play at the stadium. Financial details of the deal were not released. The change comes as the club is overseeing a $50M-plus, 40,000-square-foot expansion of the stadium, which has a capacity of 21,144.
