LOGIC ANNOUNCES TOUR WITH JOEY BADA$$
Rapper Logic has announced a 29-date tour with support from Joey Bada$$ and Big Lenbo. The “Everybody’s Tour” will take off in Salt Lake City at the Great Saltair on July 7 and hit major markets, including Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta. In support of Logic’s third album off Def Jam, “Everybody,” the tour will conclude on Aug. 29 at Echo Beach in Toronto. Tickets go on sale Tuesday. For more details, go to Everybodystour.com.
PARADIGM HIRES DAVE CURTIN AND ZOË KING
Paradigm Talent Agency continues to expand with two new hires. Dave Curtin has been hired as the company’s new SVP of Licensing and Branded Content. Curtin was previously with Walt Disney Studios in their Disney Music Group Studio Division. Zoë King will also join Paradigm as SVP of Brand Partnerships and Development. King was most recently at Capitol Music Group as Director of Brand Partnerships.
NAS PARTNERS WITH THE THREAD SHOP
Sony’s licensing and merchandising creative agency, Thread Shop, has partnered with Nas to create fashionable and functional new merch. Thread Shop has worked with Bob Dylan, A Tribe Called Quest, and Common. The Nas partnership will focus on creating fashion-forward, on-trend collections for the artist, as well as strategic collaborations. Thread Shop will also work with Nas on a revamped web store with exclusive merchandise.
