MRG HIRES CRISPIN GILES AS SENIOR TALENT BUYER
The MRG Group has announced the hiring of Crispin Giles as the new Senior Talent Buyer for MRG Concerts as the company seeks to further develop its portfolio of regional and national bookings. Giles will bring 20 years of experience to the role and has previously worked with Canadian Music Week and festivals NXNE and FoRMS. Giles will begin in his new position immediately and will be working out of MRG Concerts’ Vancouver office.
MADISON HOUSE HIRES JORDAN CARRIERE
Jordan Carriere grew up riding sponsored dirt bikes in Louisiana, but his love of music led him to an Arts Management degree from Columbia College in Chicago. He began his career at Monterey International where he worked for six years on a diverse list of clients and now will work from the company’s office in Boulder.
“I’m excited to be part of the rising number of agents at Madison House,” says Carriere.

FYRE FEST FORCED INTO BANKRUPTCY
The holding company behind Fyre Festival, Fyre Festival LLC, has been forced into liquidation by New York as of Tuesday. Knuts’s Sher Tremonte law firm placed pressure on the New York judge to place Fyre into chapter seven bankruptcy as three of their clients try to recoup investments in the festival. John Nemeth, Raul Jimenez and Andrew Newman invested a combined $530,000 and are seeking some return on their money amidst a host of other investors and attendees suing the company.
