SPECTRA ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE PROMOTIONS
Spectra has promoted several employees to executive positions including Kim Damron’s appointment as President of the Ticketing & Fan Engagement Division. Damrom was most recently the company’s COO. “Kim Damron is a strong leader with unparalleled experience in our industry,” said Dave Butler, CEO of Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement in a statement. “Her expertise and vision touches the entire organization and drives Spectra’s delivery of world-class solutions for our clients and their customers.” Spectra also promoted Steve Demots to Chief Revenue Officer, Craig Ricks to SVP of Marketing, and Christian Lewis to VP of Business Development.
JAKE SCHNEIDER LEAVES MADISON HOUSE
Agent Jake Schneider has left Madison House, where he has served as Partner & Director of Agency Development. Schneider hasn’t shared where he’ll land next, although he has spoken about some of his own self-improvement plans on his blog Project Piddonkadonk. The agent for Bassnectar, Lotus, Beats Antique, Keys N Krates and many more acts is currently in Fiji attending a Tony Robbins “Life and Wealth Mastery Institute.”
PITCHFORK ANNOUNCES 2017 FESTIVAL LINEUP
Today Pitchfork announced the lineup for its 12th annual music festival in Chicago. The festival will take place from July 14-16 at Chicago’s Union Park with LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest, and Solange as headliners. Other performers include Thurston Moore, Angel Olsen, PJ Harvey, George Clinton, Vince Staples, and The Avalanches. This year will also see a collaboration with Solange’s label and arts platform Saint Heron with an onsite art installation, film screening, artist talks, and late night jazz jam sessions throughout Chicago.
